Bobby Jenks

Yeah, I'm doing some of this from memory.

And finally, the late, great Bobby Jenks, with two runners on, got a close play to clinch it.

The last three games were thrillers.

Problem was, the White Sox won all three of them.

Oh my God.

It wasn't Bobby Jenks.

I know it wasn't Bobby Jenks.

He had shame for Boston.

Yeah, I knew it wasn't Bobby Jenks-

Yeah

... and he was the only pitcher I was thinking of.

Your starting pitcher would be Mark Beu- Beuhrle.

Then y- r- relief pitcher, Bobby Jenks.

Carlton Fisk, Frank Thomas is your designated hitter, and Ozzie again.

Pretty good list, Barry.

You know, it's hard to go back because for me, game one of the World Series was unbelievable.

And in particular, when Bobby Jenks was closing out the win in game one, that crowd was just unbelievable in the ninth.

And it felt like when the game began on Wednesday and honestly, similar to on Thursday nights, you know, you had a couple of different experiences because on Wednesday afternoon, the crowd was absolutely crazy.

And then on Thursday night, when you had an evening setting, no sun, it was dark out, what the White Sox game ops did to help an already fervent crowd ready to just lose their minds, it was pretty cool to see.

yeah.

Canerco Bobby Jenks killing it.

Like I remember all of that, but like, I don't remember the bears winning the super bowl.

Yes.

...

I could see it being like Bobby Jenks' family.

Oh, okay.

'Cause didn't he pass away?

Good luck.

Well, yes I can, 'cause I've, I pinch hit off Bobby Jenks in game four of the World Series.

And some...

No, I don't want to sound like the old guy, but something tells me if the radar guns were the same, Bobby Jenks would've been throwing 104.

And-

Large human

There's been moments.

You know, Bobby Jenks has provided moments.

We all remember El Duque getting out of that bases loaded, nobody out jam in Boston.

But Jim, to go four innings today for Grant Taylor on 42 pitches, scoreless, and six strikeouts, that is just pure dominance.
