They s- they stood there, and they listened to kids be shot and killed.

And so I have finally said, and I told my sheriff this, 'cause we've had, we've had several incidents in my school district where kids have been killed from gunfire and/or a knife, but I told my sheriff, I said, hi- his name is, is Bobby Kimbrough.

I said, "Kimbrough," I said, "I'm telling you right now," I said, "when it happens in this school district again, and it will happen, uh, when it happens again," I said, "I'm gonna be standing right there beside you in front of the camera." And he said, "Well, I'll be standing with you as well." Uh, he really likes the system, but his hands are tied, going back to the political part.

And I'm like, "What, how can this be so damn political?" And it is.
