Bobby Carpenter

So it just shows how fluid the nature of the Heisman race can be.

I said this on the Bobby Carpenter Show earlier this morning, and I'll stand by this, I think Keilan Russell might be the one quarterback who can actually challenge Jeremiah Smith for the Heisman with the combination of stats, big stages, uh, the places Alabama can be, with CJ Carr and Darrian Mensah being next.

Now, I worry that CJ won't have the stats.

You know, he, he had stats this week, and then I ...

Hmm.

You know, so Jerem- but Jeremiah is in that conversation.

What about Bobby Carpenter? [laughs]

Yeah, Bobby, Bobby's great, man.

He also only played, he also only played 11 snaps.

So shout out to who, who, who was saying he was a st- starter and a stud? Bobby Carpenter or someone?

Yeah, dude, Bobby Carpenter and everyone was saying that he was gonna start.

And then, like, l- like, love Emily, and then, 'cause she ...

And Emily was like, "Yeah, like, Bo A- she hearing that Bo Atkinson's been hooping." And you were like, "You'll believe it when you see it." In fact, honestly, the way the whole beat was talking about it, Zach, I thought he was gonna start.

It's from Jamie.

The A.J. Hawk, Bobby Carpenter, and Anthony Schlegel linebacker play in 2005 gave up like 70 rushing yards a game, always in the right place, and never missed a tackle.

Excuse me, that's a good one as well.

Just...

You're listening to Bishop & Friends.

All right, timed out on the Bryan Heating and Cooling Systems Fan Guest Hotline conversation with our great friend Bobby Carpenter.

Morning Juice, and of course, national champion, NFL first-round pick, incredible father.

But you know it all by now.

Yes, sir.

My pleasure, Bo.

There he goes, Bobby Carpenter, Morning Juice right here, and of course, uh, all the rest of the accolades that come with, uh, with Bob.

Second hour of the program coming up next.

I think they're washed.

But I'll never forget, after the Texas game, Bobby Carpenter running around talking about Peyton Pierce Granted Out as the highest defender on PFF and Granted Out as a champion.

It's like, well, now everybody's really quiet.

All the Peyton Pierce defenders loved the PFF then, but hates the PFF now.
