So what do you hear from voters as you're traveling up and down the coast there?

Yeah.

So let me address the first thing that you said with California, because It is a very strange state because of its size of it, because California has the most amount of Republicans.

It has the most amount of non-party preferences or independents, and it has the most amount of Democrats.

So all three of those things are true in one state at the same time.

So it's a very strange kind of nuance there with California and then the way it operates.

So what I have been seeing is the non-party preference has been growing.

Can you tell us a little bit about what convinced you to jump in this race and how you decided to show up and be competitive in this race?

But do you support the war?

Yeah, so there's a couple of things there.

So I support Iran cannot have nuclear weapons, and Iran cannot continue to advance ballistic missile technology.

This is my area of expertise in air and ballistic missile defense, so I understand this really well.

That said, it's been since before 2024 where I've gotten a classified briefing on what's going on there and understanding all the data.

So once in Congress, I would want to look at what's going on right now.

Bob, how did you, maybe I missed this at the outset, how did you get involved in wanting to be, how did you get picked to be this guy running for Congress?

So I've been traveling across all three counties.

I've been doing 12 hours a day, seven days a week into every different community that we have across the Central Coast.

So it's a unique place.

We have everything from fisheries in Morrow Bay to our ag districts up north to our cattlemen's to our wine country down to our cities down here with tourism and everything else.

It is a very unique district.
