Bob Huggins is the winningest coach in Cincinnati Bearcats history and took the team to 14 straight trips to the NCAA tournament, including a Final Four appearance in 1992.

If Kenyon Martin hadn't broken his leg when UC was ranked number one in the country just before March Madness in 2000, there's little doubt in my mind that Huggins would have won a national championship.

His Cincinnati tenure ended with a lot of bitterness on both sides.

On 580 WCHS, former WVU men's basketball head coach Bob Huggins is living with a progressive cognitive condition that is impacting his daily life.

The University of Cincinnati and the family of Bob Huggins made a joint announcement regarding Huggins' health on Wednesday.

Huggins will be inducted into the University of Cincinnati Athletics Hall of Fame tomorrow, and he is scheduled to attend ceremonies throughout the weekend.

Huggins served as the head coach of the Matineers from 2007 to 2023, guiding WVU to 11 NCAA tournament appearances, including a run to the Final Four in 2010 and Sweet 16 appearances in 2008, 2015, 2017, and 2018.

yeah i will point out to the uh the diagnosis or the i guess maybe the release from the family about bob huggins not a you know not a not a worldwide secret but shocked a lot of people um You know, because we all remember the 1990s Bob for sure, the stories and just the way his swagger and the way the teams had their swagger because of him as well.
