Blurb

It was printer's slang for ink that smudged on a book jacket.

Blurb was a 19th century word for exaggerated or meaningless speech, or it comes from a fictional woman called Miss Belinda Blurb.

Is it B? It's not B.

It's not? It was the babe Miss Belinda

Blurb.

No, really? So pretty ridiculous example of a book.

It was when an American humorist in the early 1900s was promoting his book and he put a pretend woman on the back of it promoting his book and she was called Miss Belinda Blood.

That's what we call a blurb, right?

Yeah.

Blurb of a book is that.

If books have blurbs and movies, two-hour movies have 15-second trailers-

Yeah

... something.

It c- it came with a manual to help you build your own Silver Bullet, but we're naming ours The Baron's Blurb.

The Baron's Blurb.

[upbeat music]

Eee.

For those that are new here, The Baron's Blurb is we take a synopsis of the movie and move letters, or not letters, we move words around-

[laughs]

... and make our own very funny, uh, description of the movie.

Yeah.

For those who are new here, The Baron's Blurb is a synopsis that we create here where we fill in words to make our very own funny way of telling the story of this movie.

And I'm just gonna let you guys know right now, this one's gonna be kind of long because I had to break it down per segment.

Okay.

Well, Kimberley, can you do the spoiler-free recap of this? Yeah.

I mean, I would almost just direct people to The Blurb, which does a very good job of spoiler-free recapping this.

So basically, it's summer.

Kaleas? Khaleesa.
