We were told today that SpaceX is very, very close to flying another orbital test, and next year sometime would fly a lunar landing test, landing and takeoff of the Starship, which it would have to do safely, not just to get astronauts safe, to and from the moon, but to fulfill NASA's expectations of delivering a product that a lot of people have questions about.

The Blue Origin ship, well, they are going to send cargo versions of their lunar landers to the moon with material for lunar bases, and I think those in some way, shape, or form are going to serve as test beds, but I think NASA also needs to know that the Blue Moon lander, as it's called, can land and take off, and it was unclear as to what kind of landing and takeoff test they're demanding from Blue Origin.

But that cargo mission will bring the first pressurized habitat to the moon.

So that's essentially telling us that.

Any missions that NASA does to the moon prior to 33 are going to be short-term missions for however long the Blue Moon lander and the Starship lander can maintain a crew on the surface.

You're not talking about probably anything longer than a month, and that's probably long.
