I think in hindsight, certainly we can see that the seal of independence was a bridge too far when asking consumers to make the leap that all independently owned brewers were somehow more craft people.

than the Goose Islands of the world or even the New Belgians of the world or the Blue Moons of the world, which was a confusing one from the very jump because it was actually brewed and launched by Coors Brewing Company when Keith Villa was working for them on their pilot brewery in Denver.

So like... that's where you start to see the waters get very muddy.

And again, it's partly the trade's fault, but I think it's also... function of shifting consumer expectations, a shifting media environment, certainly a tremendous amount of M&A that the strategic macro brewers and to some extent outsiders to the industry entirely do to buy up high level or high prominence craft breweries over the course of that decade as well.

So, is it, is it orange flavoured beer, or is this just like the, you know, that you get in Seoul or whatever, so they put a little bit of lime in on them.
