But I mean, the thing I go back to always is that xbox has always tried to break into the japanese market and they've done so in various ways and they've they've you know they they have like they had yakuza like a dragon be a first on xbox series x in terms of that generation's launch i was on ps4 but for that generation that was a You know, the Yakuza franchise had made a big splash on Xbox.

You know, they have exclusives with Mistwalker back in the day, if you remember Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey.

Various ways, you know, Ninja Gaiden, various ways in which Xbox has always tried to break into the Japanese market.

And this feels like an extension of that.

uh was blue dragon we talked about this a little bit the other day on game mess mornings but yeah i'll bring it here as well because i think blue dragon is uh slept on a lot and a lot of people are like oh yeah that cult classic game it's a little harder to play because technically xbox console exclusive but now the um The recompilation is available now on PC.

You can go, I think it's called ReBlue.

And so now you play it as a PC port.

It's excellent.

But Blue Dragon is very cool.

I think the combat system is very fun.

Folks are now able, you know, there's a shit ton of N64 games they've been doing that with.

They've also started dabbling in the 360 with era and the latest game to have this is Blue Dragon.

Which is from, this is the first game from Mistwalker that was Hironobu Sakaguchi's studio that he founded, the creator of Final Fantasy, that he founded after leaving Square Enix.

And this is the game that has, you know, Akira Toriyama's artwork and it has Nobuo Uematsu's score.

But this is so fucking cool.

And this just has me.

jonesing for people to start digging into the 360 library and the ps3 library and these games that are that are locked to this hardware like this team who did this and this isn't like some ai vibe coded bullshit this is like a team has been working on this this is this is a handcrafted project and they said they're going to lost odyssey next which that game is an actual banger also by mist walker that was their other big 360 games so um i'm i'm fucking stoked for that so yeah blue dragon uh a weird kind of like factotum of video game history it also had a couple ds spinoff games and like a an anime they tried to make a whole thing of it which just didn't work but um i think it is so cool that this game is is now um incredibly playable on on on steam so uh I don't know.
