the author being humble because make no mistake about it to make it into shonen jump regardless if it's short-lived or not is because you have talent and you have ability so the person saying i have regrets about lacking ability you know they're just being humble and you know talking that pride humble talk or whatnot that has nothing to do with their ability if you made it into shonen jump is because you actually have the ability or whatnot sometimes it's timing sometimes things just are like you know the type of story you're telling maybe doesn't fit in the climate right now whatnot there are certain classic series that if they came out right now probably would get cancelled within 15 20 chapters let's be real you know what series i'm thinking of right now i'm sure Masayoshi Satosho further revealed that Drawn to the Fire was inspired by his love of playing basketball in middle school following the cancellation and it had a lot of promise when it made its debut with Shonen Jump earlier this year.

With the magazine losing major sports hits like Blue Box, it has been hungry for another sports title to enter the spotlight.

but despite the promising start it seemed like this series didn't really do well enough for fans in Japan to warrant 20 chapters of the series it didn't even get to test the waters with a physical volume release before its cancellation either damn it didn't even get a physical before they got this one out there wow this isn't the most egregious cancellation of the year with Shonen Jump as there have been few other titles that have also been cancelled with that many chapters, like Alien Headbutt, and Hero Girl, and Demon Lord Call It Quits, and that's usually the pace at which a failing series is canceled with the magazine in the last few years.

Some titles get their chance to run a little bit longer and find their audiences, but others like this just aren't as lucky.
