You can see his, uh, [laughs] improvised comedy tendencies, and he was deciding whether he should get into improvised comedy or whether he should do serious songs, and you can see in that song Blowin' in the Wind, he's really grappling with it.

And, you know, initially I heard Peter Paul Murray singing Blown in the Wind, I think, and Times are Changing, and then I discovered Bob Dylan.

In 1963, during the historic March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his iconic speech from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.

Earlier that day, folk trio Peter, Paul and Mary performed Bob Dylan's protest anthem, Blowin' in the Wind, to the crowd.

In 1965, during a performance at the Forest Hills Tennis Stadium in Queens, New York, Bob Dylan faced intense booing from folk purists who were really upset at the fact that he transitioned from acoustic guitar to electric guitar music.

Despite the hostility, he defiantly powered through his set, which notably included the live debut of his masterpiece, Desolation Row.
