Bloomfield

Everybody hereabouts, at least, knows all about Barroy.

Uh, one of the great college pitchers of our time up at Fordham with Jack Coffey, then a great star over in New York, the Yankee farm club, and then a success here with the Yankees, uh, and, uh, who lives over in Bloomfield, New Jersey, just across the river.

We all know all about him.

Very few, however, know much about Brazzle, and I hear people calling him "The Kid." Well, he's far from a kid.

And this crowd goes out of here happy, as it well might.

It saw a wonderful ballgame until that time and, of course, from a Yankee standpoint, a perfect game, with them coming along to break it up in the eighth inning.

Marois, a freshma- a former Fordham pitcher, uh, one of our great college pitchers around here, went from Fordham, also a Jersey guy, comes from Bloomfield.

Went from Fordham to Newark, the Yankee farm club across the river, was a star there.

Um, I'm Francesca.

I'm from Bloomfield, New Jersey.

Um, I don't know much about urinals.

I met Matthew McConaughey last year at a book signing, and I gave him a letter about my mom who passed away ironically.

Where'd you come from?

Well, right now, Bloomfield, New Jersey.

Uh-huh.

Well, it's nice to have you with us today, and I think the people would like to know that the reason the prize for today is so big is that for the first time since we've been on the air, our mystery has gone unsolved four weeks in a row.

All right.

And then my favorite for a standard cookie, just a good ass cookie, is Cookie Connect, Bloomfield, Ridgewood and Hoboken, three locations.

And so this is kind of like that great American cookie or like that cookie you get in the grocery store where it's gooey and soft in the middle, but still has that thin, crispy edge.

And it's not tall.

Yeah, my three favorite cookies in North Jersey right now are Sweet Kneads by Radima in Livingston, Made by Wendy, which makes giant, colossal cookies, so you order from her on Instagram.

They're like the size of a pizza box, like the Casano's Chicken Parm, but a cookie.

And then my third favorite is Cookie Connect in Bloomfield, Hoboken, and Ridgewood.

Matt likes Italian cookies and vegan options.

Coaching at third is Raleigh Hemsley, and over at first, George Case.

Daniel Francis O'Connell Jr., six feet tall and 180 pounds, now living in Bloomfield, New Jersey, the Garden State.

Daley first pitches right down the middle, strike called.

Danny started his big league career with the Pirates, went to Milwaukee, then the Giants, and now with Washington.

He was the anchorman at the time.

And he had been involved with a haunting that we had investigated in Bloomfield, New Jersey.

And he was impressed by this.

So he gave us a ring and he said, we'd like you to come down and see what's going on in Amityville, Long Island.

We've got a sharp contrast in these two pitchers, everybody hereabouts at least, knows all about Baroi.

Baroi, a former Fordham pitcher, one of our great college pitchers around here, went from Fordham, also a Jerseyite, comes from Bloomfield, went from Fordham to Newark, the Yankee Farm Club across the river, was a star there, came back here to the Yankee Stadium, was a stalwart in this game.

Although the Cardinals took their usual lead, getting two runs in the fourth inning, almost no balls were hit solidly off of him.

I have a friend who's a fire captain.

He graduated high school with me in Bloomfield, New Jersey, which is only 10 miles from the city.
