Blood Gulch

I was going to say, mentioning the red versus blue format, that's kind of the setup for the season.

It's very much returned to almost like a Blood Gulch type of season.

We get a little bit of info from Donut, though.

Apparently, after the events of last season, Donut was dropped off in Valhalla.

And the Reds and Blues were supposed to go back to Blood Gulch.

Yeah.

And for Halo PC, the demo, you could play, I don't even think you could play the entire mission of the silent cartographer, but it was just silent cartographer.

You could play that single player or you could play Blood Gulch.

And the blood Gulch, you could connect with all the other

computers.

So our teacher would get so upset.

Because Halo PC had not the rocket launcher, but there was like a Covenant rocket launcher that had, it was like a yellow gold thing and it shot these big green rocket shots.

And so that was cool.

But it also had a Banshee that you could fly around in, in Blood Gulch.

It was a small one.

It looked like the Blood Gulch one, but smaller.

It was very small, and it had a big little arch in the middle, and the rocket launcher spawns up on the top.

Do you know what it is? I don't know.

I mean, I, and this is probably me putting very much my nostalgia glasses on, but whenever I think of social gaming I always, always, always go back to the days of playing "Halo: Combat Evolved" on PC, uh, when it was a CD-ROM, uh, and playing just endless hours of Blood Gulch and just talking to the people in there as the matches never ended.

It was awesome.

It was great.

Oh, yeah.

But I would have, if there were four people or three people that wanted to learn something, I would teach one person at a time.

and say okay you put you two over here just watch the screen and watch what i'm saying it'll be your turn soon but what i like to do i like to go into blood gulch because it's wide open it's a bigger place but it has interiors it has vehicles it has tunnels it has clay caves and cliffs and plants and birds and rocks and things um let's see if anybody picks up on that reference um but what i like to do is basically just normal settings uh no nothing special but i teach them how to to move around with two thumbsticks by following me so they i get in front of them and i say you could shoot me which is fine but don't let's just learn how to like follow me where i'm going and that's actually i'm very uh methodical and slow about that because that's actually one of the hardest things for people to get is that muscle movement correlation of like, now we're going to go inside this building and I can immediately run and hide someplace.

And they're like, I lost you.

And I'm like, okay, so that's what you can, you know, now I want you to find me.

No, but I, I would look at his skill level and, uh, um, I would at least say, oh, Hey, president Trump, let's let's.

Let me show you.

And then I'd go to blood Gulch and I would say, follow me.

And I would let him shoot me in the head a few times just for fun, but I would want to teach him the whole movement thing.
