Okay, a little bonus content for the Gorman in the Morning podcast because I think Steve maybe has some FOMO about not getting to participate in the Blizzard of 91.

So we're hanging out.

We got an email also from Kristen.

She goes, the Blizzard of 91, I went horseback riding.

Oh, wow.

The trail guide said if I'm crazy enough to go, he's crazy enough to take me.

We started out small, but it didn't take long to get over 200 kids each year.

Even the blizzard had 200 kids show up.

I think that was, was that also during one of the On a Strand of Blizzards, or did we just have a lot of puppies? Sometimes I look at those bigger numbers and then Elena will be like, we had 10 numbers of puppies come in.

Blizzard warnings also begin Friday morning for the Seward Peninsula, Bering Strait Coast, and Shishmaref.

The Aleutians East Borough faces damaging winds beginning Thursday night.

So the 50-year anniversary of the Blizzard of '77 creeping up, you know.

And again, as I am only a mere 38 years old, I don't remember it.

But I heard my entire life growing up, "Well, you kids never would've made it through the Blizzard of '77." That's all I [laughs] that's all I heard growing up.

Not from my parents, because my parents didn't live here in '77.

My parents didn't come to Buffalo until the mid-'80s.

But from teachers and other people's parents, you know, "You never would've made it through the Blizzard of '77." Um, so look forward to that.

Now, since we're on the topic of the city of Buffalo, I, I, I thought we should cover this before moving on.

Well, I, and my daughter is known in town as the Blizzard Baby.

And so your, did you give your daughter a name unique to those circumstances? Or was it l- you know, just a family name or something?

Um, I, well, I named her Amy, um, a biblical name, and then her middle name is Nicole, who was named after my niece who was murdered.
