Blizzard T. Husky

Michigan Tech, St.

Cloud State, both have a mascot named Blizzard T. Husky.

They both have the same middle

initial.

Oh, wow.

Then they decided that was too violent, so they changed it to Champ.

They wanted to go with Blizzard T. Husky, but apparently it was already taken.

Oh, God.

Welcome, everyone, to this edition of the Weekend Hangover, where I recap all WCHA and NCHC action.

Let's start off in the Granite City, where the battle for Blizzard T. Husky wages against Michigan Tech.

Gavin Thorsen scored for the Huskies, followed up by freshman Hayden Papanikas, who scored his first collegiate goal on the power play.

But sadly, the Huskies couldn't contain Taden Trembecki, who scored twice, including the game-winner in the three and three overtime session.
