Well, now we see that Crusoe has announced that they're not gonna pursue a deal with Boom.

Blake Scholl, Boom Supersonic's CEO, posted on X, um, some comments.

He congratulated Crusoe on, uh, their latest funding round, but then he, he said, uh, "Also wanted to let everyone know Crusoe and Boom are no longer launching our superpower turbine together.

The TLDR is that turbines are no longer part of Crusoe's near-term primary power mix at Abilene, so a launch partnership just didn't make sense."

There is kind of a process for that.

But more normally they grant ETOPS based on having data about the, the performance of both.

In his post on X, uh, Blake Scholl said that they would be delivering about 250 megawatts of superpowers next year to other sites and targeting one giga- uh, gigawatt worth of power in 2028.

So I tried to do a little math, a- and somebody can check me and see if, if I've messed this up or not, but Crusoe's order for 29 superpower units was at a published value of $1.25 billion.
