But the options for the back of the bullpen just aren't fantastic at the moment.

I, I wish they would've given some younger guys a look here over the final month, whether it was giving Blake Burkhalter a little bit of a longer look, maybe calling up a, an Eric Hernandez to see if he could be a dominant left-handed arm.

Um, you know, even a, a Luis Vargas, who me and Gorab had talked about a lot on the, the prospect episode, and see if maybe one of these guys could spark something and, and be that lift.

I know some people have talked about, you know, what about a Davis Polo? What about a Cam Cannady? Call one of them up to be that, you know, kind of post-season star like we've seen other teams do.

Right? If you look at the guys you have in triple A, James Karinchak.

Do you wanna give Blake Burkhalter another shot? Do you wanna call up Tyler Uberstein? You know, do you wanna give Roldy Munoz a chance? You just, you just grab Michael Grove off of waivers from Tampa Bay, who had gotten him from the Dodgers, and Grove has some fun stuff.

He's never put it together, right? He's a [chuckles] 29-year-old.

He was taken in the 2018 draft, so, like, that tells you how long he's been in the league and has not figured it out yet, but he's got some fun stuff.

But he's looked very good.

And then we'll go Luis Vargas and Blake Burkhalter.

absolutely next we got Roldy Munoz who threw an inning two strikeouts and Danny Young three strikeouts and one inning Tyler Uberstein A guy who was kind of interesting whenever we traded for him in the Boston, in the Eli White trade to Boston.

He's been pretty solid so far for the Braves at AAA.

And then Blake Burkhalter, his first save, 100 run.

They overall as a team on Friday, Gwinnett had eight team strikeouts, which is seeming to become a recurring experience in J.R. Ritchie starts.

Was this just a hot first half? And I think that's, with the, with the struggles that he's had in Columbus, I think that's going to be some of the talk going into next year is was it legitimate and can he do it at double A? Uh, so I think there's gonna be a lot that, that Eric Hartman still has to answer next season.

Ian Doe says, "What do you expect out of Blake Burkhalter at the big league level? My buddy Micah seems to think he won't be able to produce serviceable innings." I, I've always thought Blake Burkhalter would be a big league reliever, and I still think that.

I wish we would've been able to see a little bit more from him.
