Blake Bailey

But y- yeah, but just to keep going and making stuff and the, it, uh...

Yeah, and I love reading biographies, and that's what I always ask people who I go on a date with is, "What are you reading?" 'Cause I love, um, I just read the biography of Philip Roth, who is a problematic person, um, and so was the person who wrote the biography, Blake Bailey.

Anyways, but, um, but, you know, just see all the ebbs and flows of people's, uh, processes and then, then it, then you die.

And [laughs] then you don't have to worry about it too much, you know? That there's gonna be highs and lows, and, and there's always, always something fun happening like today I got to come here, and I got to pet a stuffed capybara, and I got to talk with Jesse.
