And if you want to listen to that and be a part of that conversation, you can do so over at patreon.com forward slash work for it for as little as $10.82 a year.
Brian HouseHOST
67:22
It's a super steal of a deal because you can also sit down with us on Saturday night in Atlanta.
Brian HouseHOST
67:27
at Blade Show and have dinner with us.
Brian HouseHOST
67:29
I don't know where in Atlanta you can buy dinner for $10, but you can't.
Corey BakerGUEST
11:47
yep a lot yeah every day
Jerid SandovalHOST
11:51
that's good i mean i don't know if it's good but or or bad i'm just saying uh i actually i've had this really negative connotation towards ai i remember when it first came out you know it was a year ago or when you know people were doing the uh the the videos and then making all their logos and then all their pictures and stuff like that i thought it was really taken away from some some creativity because um that's just how i was feeling and even professionally though uh when i went to this convention a couple uh weeks back the um there was a whole bunch of seminars on kind of like integrating uh, that into the process.
Jerid SandovalHOST
12:30
And I had this real realization that it's either get right or get left kind of scenario because everyone's going to use it.
Jerid SandovalHOST
12:39
It, the question was like, what can this do in your, in your normal day to day deal, uh, that could cut down some of your, your, you know, me, um, repetitive tasks.
MattGUEST
16:40
I just can't afford it.
MattGUEST
16:44
There's another thousand different features that I'd never use and I wouldn't understand.
MattGUEST
16:50
And, know i guess how ai has really helped me is i have a lot of ideas and i don't know how to get them on a computer so then i basically go to cloud and be like okay this is my idea how do we get from point a to point b without completely breaking the bank um and it's been really helpful for that now on the flip side i try and avoid it for graphics i try to avoid it for um you know uh website copy uh captions all of that stuff um every once in a while it's fun to play around with like the video i dropped the other day but um you know i try to stay away from it for the most part for for that kind of thing
Corey BakerGUEST
17:33
media side things yeah um well that was kind of the same you know for us um i had needs that needed to be met software wise that I needed some sort of system for and spent a lot of time looking for something that would do what I needed it to do.
Josh SmithHOST
24:36
They'll put it in a package.
Josh SmithHOST
24:37
And literally all you have to do is just go out and market it and sell it, right? And you could put it on Amazon or whatever, right? Well, I was at the Blade Show last year in Atlanta, and I saw this company down there, and I could not believe.
Josh SmithHOST
24:52
I started talking to different small companies that were all around this huge booth in Atlanta, and I started realizing how many of these small companies were all using that one factory.
Josh SmithHOST
25:03
Mm-hmm.
Gary CreelyHOST

so i really enjoyed that uh that knife it's holding an edge really well i just really wish i knew where it was i i do not sometimes they're they get left in my pants and then float around for a while so we'll figure that out all right what's your number three
PaulHOST
12:58
uh my number three is the protec malibu um so i only have one so i only have the one blade shape um this one is a blade show 2024 exclusive um so it's got the geometric handle pattern and it's got the pearl button This was one that I was a little hesitant to carry at first, but through Gary's encouragement, I kind of just started thumping on it.
PaulHOST
13:29
And I really love it.
PaulHOST
13:31

PaulHOST
18:03
I got to talk to Dave Wattenberg.
Brian HouseHOST
51:41
Who knows? Yeah, who knows? I often think about some of the people that were in our community who have kind of fallen back into the shadows a little bit.
Brian HouseHOST
51:52
And then I wonder like, okay, where'd that person go? And then I'll see him at blade show.
Brian HouseHOST
51:56
Right.
Brian HouseHOST
51:56
And it's just because again, the algorithm has chosen not to show me their work, which sucks, you know? So it's like, well, did this person really disappear or is it just Instagram just filtering everything? So, and I, I love you.
Jerid SandovalHOST
62:43
I am following him now.
Denis TyrellHOST
62:45
