I paddled the Blackwood River in Western Australia over five, five days I think it was-

I'm very excited to talk to you, to get into this.

The headline is, you're doing something you're calling the Blackwood River 10.

You're solo kayaking the Blackwood River, 314 kilometres from Boyart Brook to Augusta.

We'll get into the details of that and the challenge that it's going to be, but first, Anthony, can you tell me, because you're partnering with Rural Aid for this, so I have to start by asking, why are you taking on this kayaking challenge? Can you tell me your story?

It really took away a lot of my abilities and skills that I had at the time and one of those things was I used to kayak in the ocean a lot.

I used to do a lot of fishing from a kayak and because of the injury I wasn't able to do that anymore and support network and therapists, et cetera, recommended that I continue doing life as I used to.

I found the Blackwood River.
