So Level Health, as you'd imagine, the new provider has to be very... price competitive so they have plan B 300 it is discounted at the moment by 10% and that plan is 995 Leia Healthcare the next one they have a plan called Access Health that's 1090 and then we have the My Plan 350 what Irish Life Health is about 1157 and VHI have the Enhanced Care 350 which is about 1208 euro so These are all plans that will cover you in every public hospital and they'll cover you in every private, standard private hospital.

They don't cover Blackrock Clinic or the Mater private.

And just to clarify this, they're the high-tech hospitals.

And you really, if you want full cover for those hospitals, and I hope you're sitting down when you hear this price, they cost €5,500 per adult.

So this is MatterPrivate and BlackRock.

And why?

Once again, this goes back to when these hospitals first came on stream.

They were the high-tech hospitals with the latest technology and they were much more expensive to get treated there.

So at 8 o'clock the next morning, I made contact with the secretary of the surgeon.

And she said, he's operating today in the Black Rock Clinic and he might be into you later on.

So he came in to me on Thursday night, that particular Thursday night, and he said, Patty said, you know, he said, the operation was not successful.

I said, Prakash, I called him, he was an Indian, lovely, lovely man, Prakash Madhavan.

I'd even gone to a specialist.

I had to wait two years to see this specialist in a fancy clinic in Ireland called Black Rock Clinic.

And after waiting two years to see the specialist looked me over and then said, you have eczema.

And I was like, I know I have eczema.

And then he was like, he said afterwards, another time I remember I could see he used to cut his hair every two weeks and his hair was getting like, obviously with the very high temperatures and stuff, he was extremely uncomfortable and I was trying to make him comfortable.

And I said to BlackRock Clinic, I said, you're obviously not well enough to leave.

But could I bring his barber into the clinic, into the hospital? And they were like, yeah.

I said, but like, when can we do it? Because obviously when they're not well and they're up and down and they're very sick.

tell me how much you love me and just he couldn't believe that I had organized that for him but obviously the initial reaction was a sharp one because he didn't want to see anybody to see him the way he was which um I always remember that I

understand as well I

can I can because I don't think I think sometimes when you're like I set up different whatsapp groups one for um Dermot's family his mum and his brothers he's one for his friends and one for my own family so that I was providing the updates as we were getting them from the hospital just to allow everybody to get the same information that I wasn't hiding anything from them it wasn't me putting up you're not allowed to come his closest friends obviously were put on a list in Blackrock Clinic and I just said that they could come and go as they wished and there were other people that he just he wasn't able for and I remember his lovely boss from TNS came all the way from London he had had a horrific day that day and they thought his cancer had spread to his brain and he was having a really bad reaction to the drugs where he thought things were coming out of the wall and that was one of the worst experiences I had where the drugs just made him like as if he was on a really bad trip it was horrific and he just said to me please stop this I can't go on And he nearly lost his voice in that battle because he couldn't communicate with the doctors.

So I sat down with the team and I said, you've got to fix this.

There, I guarantee you, they're on the VHI premium care, €5,511.

They should only be on that plan if they want to be fully covered for a private room in Blackrock Clinic and the Matter Private in Dublin for everything.

If that's not essential, if they're happy going to the Beacon Hospital or St. Vincent's Private or Hermitage, but still keeping cover...
