And our final FAQ question is, if a turreted Canadian vehicle already has one or more Pindle MMGs, or the option to take them but doesn't have an option for the Pindle HMG, does it get the Browning HMG option? The wording suggests no because it says upgrade this MMG.

The answer is yes, they may upgrade the Pintel MMGs they get normally in their entries, as well as the additional ones they get from the Browning special rule.

The Home Guard was fed with gadgets that sounded almost absurd at first.

The Blacker Bombard, a 29mm spigot mortar, and sticky anti-tank grenades were issued to civilian volunteers who had never been in combat before.

Those weapons turned out more for show than firepower, yet they became symbols of Britain's determination.

They weren't just sent to sit behind fences.

This was basically a convocation of boffins who were thinking up new portable weapons for the regular army.

But who was going to test them out? Who better than the Home Guard? And so it was the Home Guard who were testing out the spigot mortars, the blacker bombards, these new extraordinary, basically, the PS, the handheld mortifiers, the incredibly elegant weapons, but needing a lot of testing.

I don't know how easy you would feel about testing out the newest flamethrower, for instance, but there they are.
