Blackburn College

I live in Jerseyville, Illinois.

Became part, you know, I started thinking about my role and how I became involved with United Way and it started back in 1999. when I was at Blackburn College in Macoupin County and was invited.

I hadn't had a lot of experience, but similar, was asked to join the board.

And at that time, agencies came in and talked.

We alter that a little bit in the summer.

We meet every other, but we meet every Thursday, typically at Blackburn College at noon.

And they welcome us for lunch out there.

It's open to the community.
