Apparently, Ryan Coogler has had a lot of influence on this casting because rumor has it Storm is going to be in Black Panther 3 probably before the X-Men movie comes out or in the midst of all that.

And it makes sense because Storm dated T'Challa before.

in the comics, but that's T'Challa that we had in the comics is dead, and now his son's gonna be taking over the lead mantle of Black Panther, we all assume, in Black Panther 3, so I know a lot of nerds are like, that can't happen, it's not happening, Storm's not getting with his son, Storm got with him, he's dead, that's not, and it's like, guess what? The movies are not exact one-for-one replicas of the comics.

They've always deviated.

And why wouldn't they do this? It makes sense that they're the same age.
