Black Adam's making an appearance in Man of Tomorrow.

It would make the movie better.

And then, and then you would have to have Shazam or Black Adam or one of those probably, uh, Captain Marvel Junior, whatever, to be their, like, their, their Thunder God equivalent-

I don't know if he got taken or what, but he gets, uh, flash of lightning, he's gone.

So assuming Billy or Black Adam probably be able to open the box.

Okay? That's a, so based on, like, who are we talking about? We're talking about the wizard, right?

And they're like, no.

And he's like, well, this guy isn't Black Adam.

I'm like, oh, I love Hawkman, right? But he comes up on the call display and never answers his phone.

But I knew that we had Isis in this one and that the Adriana Tomas character, I think more specifically over the last 10, 15 years, has been used very prominently in the Black Adam comics and even was in the Black Adam movie, not as Isis, but as the Adriana Tomas character.

She's literally just a PR person in this episode.

And yet I remembered it being a much bigger role, which I might be mixing up with some other non-ISIS related episode.

Even though I consider myself to be very liberal.

Right.

We get the little joke where she draws the dagger and it's labeled the dagger of Teth Adam, which is Black Adam.

And essentially she's going to replace, Clark's body will become the vessel for Osiris.

What happens when they do at the same time? and that leads into the night vision special if you haven't been following justice league unlimited it's a great time to jump on right now because the villains have been given at least the ones that wanted it have been given amnesty luther's on the team he and batman are not best buddies and it's honestly been such a great story arc seeing these two interacting if you're a fan of both characters like you and i both are it's been a great run with these two but the night vision specials kicking off like where this is all going and stuff like that so if you if you're a regular reader don't miss the Justice League night vision special number one it's all Batman and Lex Luthor so it's I don't know what I don't know what more you need off of that one exactly And then last book I want to shout is Absolute Superman number 21.

It's wrapping up this story arc with Black Adam or Shazam, you know, King Shazam that's in there, which is who he is over there.

It's but it's basically Black Adam.

And I boy.

I am having such a tough time right now deciding what my favorite absolute book is.

His costume just rocks to no end.

And King Shazam, King Shazam is just super cool.

I always loved Black Adam anyway, but the idea of doing what they did with King Shazam and the twist of what his powers actually are.

So for science fiction, that's kind of your default bulk of our well-known heroes.

Superman, of course, he's an alien, so his fantastic powers are sort of based in science or at least kind of pseudoscience, right? Spider-Man, the Hulk, Iron Man, Green Lantern, Fantastic Four, those are all real sci-fi based and can, you know, depending on what adventures you're looking at with the Fantastic Four or like the Silver Surfer who kind of comes in there, you can get into some kind of space opera stuff or like Guardians of the Galaxy, right? Or Adam Strange from DC, right? You got more fantasy-leaning characters like Wonder Woman, Thor, DC's Captain Marvel, which most people might think of more as under the name Shazam, and of course his counterpart, Black Adam.

With detective and espionage, I mean, Batman, Daredevil, Nick Fury, Black Widow, anything involving S.H.I.E.L.D. in a Marvel or Checkmate, the organization in a DC Comics.

Captain America, depending on the writer and the story arc, can lean really into more espionage kinds of comics.

Yeah.

But what about characters like Harlequin, or Catwoman, or Black Adam, or even Lobo? They've all been protagonists at various points, but are they still villains? I think it's a little harder to decide.

And on the flip side, we also debated heroes who were temporarily turned evil.

Yes, Mary Marvel was a bad guy for a hot minute.

So not only did he kill the lamest superhero- man who just wore like a wrestling belt who uh but but nobody even bothered to follow up on it for like 40 years so yeah i have to say spirit king so congratulations sean you still have the worst pick
