Lise's investing career has taken her across Canada, China, and West Africa.

Before BKR, she worked across investment management, impact investing, venture philanthropy, and operating roles, including experience with LGT Venture Philanthropy, Engineers Without Borders Canada, and EM Genesis.

She later co-founded BKR Capital, Canada's first Black-led venture capital firm, which has built an insti-institutional strategy around backing overlooked entrepreneurial talent and globally connected founders.
