He was a guy that I thought was on the bubble, but they clearly value his special teams.

BJ Payne in and as Cooper went on, I are designated to return.

Yeah, you know, not not like the most exciting practice squad, but you get it.

I mean, Bailey's happy being the QB three.

I mean, rough luck they've had with health with their rookie class.

Like, it's crazy.

Cooper, Payne, Sadiq, and Pons all...

I mean, Cooper played most of camp, but now he's going to be out a while and might even be in a redshirt-type situation.

No fan would care.

But like the Jets, they took BJ Payne, for example, with their seventh round selection this year.

He's hurt.

He's on short-term IR.

And, um, and then yeah, Moore didn't really do a whole lot to help himself either.

So I think that safety room, once, once Belton had the, the off-season he had, or, you know, the, the training camp and, and, uh, OTAs that he had, and you couple that with the fact they just drafted BJ Payne and Andre Cisco has come on in recent weeks, that safety room got pretty crowded really quick.

Teams don't really like to carry more than four, and y- you would have to imagine they wanna keep Payne around, and been one of the, you know, other than Fitzpatrick, has probably been the, the best safety on the roster.

So it's gonna be a, a important numbers game for Malachi Moore.

From what I saw in the pregames, our O-line really needs depth more than anything.

And the way I think about that is, you know, if you look at the safety room, we've got Minka, Andre Sisco, Dane Belton, Malachi Moore, BJ Payne.

cornerbacks, we got, you know, Brandon Stevens, AZ Thomas, Nishan Wright, Jarvis Brownlee.

Last year, we had Qantas Stiggers playing at, you know, starting at some point, but we're not at that point this year.

I think especially with Sweat being out, uh, for the amount of time that he was, like, I think he's gonna really, you know, get a lot of snaps too as well.

Uh, BJ Payne, I wonder especially with his injury, you know, if he's gonna make the roster too.

The Jets can always put him on injured reserve, um, as well.

So again, it's like not a, not a ton of roster spots to be had, especially on this Jets team, and it's the matter of, you know, guys like Arion Smith and Malachi Moore, will they stay on the team? Which I think they will, but they're definitely borderline guys that you definitely want to see, you know, contribute and have a good showing against the Giants on Friday night.
