I last Friday went to the Jam Center of San Diego State University, thanks to the Jacobs family.

great facility and uh watch dutch and the boys for the first time in this uh summer off season work out and it's different it's it's it's really really different because goon has uh gone to what butler i think and uh bj davis is gone heidi back up to goon is gone and uh A lot of guys, a lot of changes, a lot of nice looking players too, I'll say that.

And watch for the entire practice on Friday.

And I just have, I mentioned when I walk into Padre Clubhouse, it's where I left part of my heart.

LT Overton, the surprising thing is that if you go back and look at just anybody's draft reviews of his college tape and everything like that, he's the better run defender.

where he was maligned was his pass rush we've seen him in quarterback's faces this pre-season we've seen him getting sacks we've seen him rushing the passer so again working with BJ Davis or whatever I can't remember what the guy's name is but the defensive line coach is getting something out of these guys and they are super charged for this for this defense.

Yeah.

I mean, they did cut Tommy Dunn, who's back on the practice squad.

So, yeah, I mean, overall, I like the move.

I think that it makes a lot of sense to sort of solidify what is going to be an interesting backcourt with Wes Enos and B.J. Davis and Austin Swartz back.

But I'm not sure how it works out, Kevin.

Yeah, I think, Tom, and this is the difference where my thoughts on the two moves.

He's undersized.

The defense is going to be a big question.

I think the difference is Creighton, if this risk doesn't work out, you've got B.J. Davis, who's been a really good guard and a good conference for a really good defensive team at San Diego State.

And you also have almost that.
