But talking about research with bit, the stuff that I've seen, it's kind of frustrating for me because they're not really taking into account the type of bit that they use.

and there's sort of things like they show that horses show less conflict behaviour bitless versus with a bit but all the bits that they've used are this one specific sort which I have seen to cause a lot of issues so yes of course they're going to be happier without that but Yeah, there doesn't seem to be the knowledge around bits and the different effects that different ones can have on the horses to kind of base that research on.

So I'm very similar to you in the sense that probably if I looked at my some hours I've clocked in as a rider, most of those hours have been in a bit.

And then there's another majority that the second place majority would be bitless.
