Bisquick

I did.

We always made Bisquick biscuits as a kid, and you just stir some things together and put 'em in the oven, and I thought, "Oh, I'll just mix flour and water together and put it in the microwave for 20 minutes in a plastic bowl."

[laughs]

And that did not go well.

Sausage cheese balls.

They're a big hit in our house, which is, you know, Bisquick shredded cheddar cheese and raw, like a roll of Jimmy Dean sausage, pork sausage.

Yeah.

And it gives you the ability to add variety to the bucket.

So when you pull the bucket down, when you bring the bucket out, you can do more than one thing out of it, right? In fact, I've done buckets in the past that have been one gallon sugar, one gallon flour, one gallon Bisquick.

And, you know, you can almost make dinner out of that bucket with a few added ingredients.

You know what I mean? If you know what you're doing.

You don't wanna be hella out the loop like a hula hoop.

You know, you want to be in the mix like Bisquick.

Right.

It's like, bro, this is called artist development.

You ain't even got no buzz yet.

I'm putting you in the mix like Bisquicks.

You feel me?

And I don't even mean like a homemade.

I mean like the Bisquick, like just add water.

Like, isn't that chemically engineered? Like, it's not e- it is not even food.

And I love the just add water pancakes.

I think of growing up, my dad on Saturday mornings used to do, uh, homemade biscuits and gravy.

And the biscuits was just Bisquick biscuits that you make up.

Yeah.

Uh, but the gravy he'd always make homemade.

You know, it, it's, it, it's awful.

Um, and the rank and file was living on basically Bisquick, is what they describe living on.

And, you know, they weren't even allowed to go to the nice restaurants with Bernadine and them.
