He's the oldest son of Jim Bishop.

and has spent much of his life connected to Bishop Castle on his father's extraordinary dream.

Daniel has carried on the responsibility of caring for the castle since his father became ill with Parkinson's around 2018.

Jim asks Daniel to continue looking after the castle and to keep it welcoming to visitors.

Now, after Jim passed away in 2024, Daniel knew that his purpose was to keep his father's dream alive.

Today, he remains humbly dedicated to preserving Bishop Castle, welcoming visitors and carrying forward the legacy his father built.

Daniel plans to continue that mission for the rest of his life.
