So why is determining your why important for a coach?

Well, just like anything else, you know, when you figure out your why and what it is that's the driving force behind, you know, why you chose to do something, whether it be coaching or whatever it is you chose to do.

career path, I think it just settles you and it puts you in a position where you can constantly go back to that why and say, okay, are the things that I'm doing helping the why that I wrote down as far as, or the why that I know has been made clear to me for purpose.

So, you know, when I sit down, you know, with, with coaches and, That's really the first thing I ask.

I mean, most of them are competitive.

Most of them enjoy.

Obviously, they enjoy athletics.

Is that an accurate understanding?

I have a lot of respect for the organization over the many years and love what you all are doing in the making it very clear to not just educators, but everybody within the school building and outside the school building that they play a role in the development of young people.

And I don't know that we take that as serious sometimes as we should.

I think everybody matters.

in their development, you know, not just the coach or the math teacher, but, you know, every person that impacts their lives and they have a responsibility.
