But yeah, so that allowed people to kind of learn things on that wall.

That's the wall that like the really famous Billy Ruff, really long invert oh yeah so that wall this was super mellow it like went to vert but it was that thing of like it's vert and it's little so you know you're you had a little more control over things but in the end the other other side of thing is like you'd go most mostly like east west straight on the center line those were two fairly similar walls back to back yeah

not quite but then if you went further to like say where you can see the pictures of the light post yeah that was like the board slide wall yeah that wall fell back quite a bit so it wasn't really vert and so it's perfect for board slides yeah you couldn't really it was harder to do tricks over there um because it kind of laid back and then directly opposite was a wall that had like two feet of vert yeah yeah yeah so it's like you got mellow wall you got steep wall again yeah um but people coming from from places with more vert or bigger they tend to favor that wall because now it feels more like what I'm used to as opposed to the other walls, the West walls were mellow.

yeah so um yeah it was kind of like those guys were were had already kind of stepped away and then yeah the newer kids were coming up

so i mean you must have been involved in some pretty heavy sessions just that you know just yeah just you know

yeah i mean it's you know every every every now and then people would come would just kind of just be in town and uh like you know people like steve cavallaro would come down and stay at tony's house and uh so i remember him coming there in 1982 i was just like oh wow he's just here skating the skate park it's like it was so exciting and then we went to a backyard ramp and uh you know it's like i i kind of finagled my way into going with grant we all piled into this little pickup truck he had in the in the flatbed and so there's like eight of us in in the back of his truck and it's bonding me out over every bump and But yeah, so I went there with Billy Ruff and Steve Caballero and have some footage, some shots of that too.

So things like that would happen.
