Billy Miles

Let's move on to synopsis.

Mulder and Scully return to Bellflower, Oregon, where they reunite with Billy Miles and investigate a new series of mysterious abductions in the local forest.

Meanwhile, a dying cigarette smoking man attempts to rebuild the syndicate's conspiracy by enlisting Marita Covarrubias and Alex Krycek.

All right.

Scully smiles and asks, "Did you hurt him?" Mulder says he reduced his vision quite a bit.

The phone rings, he answers on speaker.

What do you know? It's Billy Miles.

The both of them remember without hesitation who Billy is and his situation.

So-

And then we get the return of, uh, Billy Miles.

Yep, yep.

Yeah, we get to revisit the pilot in this one, more or less.

that yeah yeah he's going to check out anyway now I do enjoy this when it comes to mythology I find them somewhat daunting I think that they're tracing in this larger story and sometimes the elements works sometimes they don't i like the fact that this is all about scully's baby even if even though it ends up at a nativity at the end of the episode two which is just i kind of love it and hate it at the same time i love the unstoppable billy miles um and you get this genuine feeling that this the show has refound its direction and is heading um and and that that kind of new era so there's lots of things i really enjoyed about these two episodes I'm sure Brian will have more to say about them later on

um so yeah no i i like it uh i just yeah you know me i'm a mythology guy i think this is really really solid mythology stuff i the the we got Billy Miles back in Requiem and it was like, oh, it's nice to see Billy Miles back.

It's good that they did the nod to the very first episode.

Then they discovered that their motel rooms were torched, destroying all their evidence, and the lab is trashed too, and someone stole the mummy.

Mulder thinks semi-comatose Billy Miles is behind it all.

Scully laughs, and when they go back to the woods to look for proof, they do find Billy getting ready to kill again, but the white light just comes and goes.

Billy tells the FBI the light took him away for testing, got frustrated, and wanted everything destroyed before it left.
