Billy Black

It gives them that dynamic and the distance instantly.

We meet Billy Black and Jacob Black, father and son, who live on the Quileute Reservation.

They'll become more important later on.

Charlie surprises Bella that he bought her a truck.

The Cullens are all the same people as last time.

Jacob and Billy Black, still bigger roles in this movie than they had in Twilight, but still Taylor Lautner and Gil Birmingham.

We add Harry Clearwater, who's played by Graham Greene.

He is another tribal elder, um, in the Quileutes, and he's another one of Charlie's best friends.

Stop.

[both laugh] Uh, 17-year-old Bella Swan moves up to a small town in the Pacific Northwest to be with her father, Charlie.

Uh, she falls in love with Edward Cullen, a mysterious classmate who reveals himself to be a 108-year-old vampire.

Uh, what is your guys' relationship with Twilight like, before I start getting too crazy here?

All right, so as we've mentioned, Bella Swan's played by Kristen Stewart, Edward Cullen's played by Robert Pattinson.

Uh, Jacob Black's played by Taylor Lautner.

His father, Billy Black, is played by Gil Birmingham.

Charlie Swan is played by Billy Burke.

This is just a mess.

Uh, Stephanie initially wanted him to be Billy Black 'cause she said, "Well, who, who is, uh..." Anyway, never mind.

I'm not gonna put that on her, but I feel like she thought that.

And then you have Gil Birmingham who plays Billy Black.

He's, um, mostly in-- best known for "Yellowstone," and then that weird storyline in "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt," where she thought she was Native American.

Um, they spotted him at a local gym where he was bodybuilding and, uh, he was-- His first acting role was in a music video for Diana Ross, uh, the 1982 hit song, "Muscles." So shout out, okay? Shout out Gil.

Cut to Arizona, we meet Bella Swan, our 70 year old protagonist who was leaving her mom behind to move to Fort Washington with her father.

After an unnecessarily awkward conversation, her father gives her a truck he bought from Billy Black on her first day of school, which is in the middle of the semester.

Okay, keep in mind the time of all this.

All the boys she meets are enamored with her for whatever reason, including Wendy Wu's older brother.

I cracked up as well, them gliding in like that.

I was like, why Laurent got his shirt open? Like, it's just, I mean, he was giving, you know, vampire vibes, but it was a mess.

I know y'all had comments about Laurent being Black.

Anything you want to share here? It's specifically because he was not Black.
