Billy Bear

In his scene in that movie, I'm trying to remember, uh, Nick Nolte has to go to a hotel.

He's got backup with Banks', his character, named Algren, and another guy, and they're looking for a couple of hooks hu- hanging out at the hotel named Ganz and Billy Bear.

And I guess they get separated.

One covers one stairwell.

They escape, and there's a scene where it, it...

They escape to the lobby, and Banks', his character, is just stunned that his partner got killed, that he's shooting his empty gun just aimlessly at, at, at the villains, and nothing's happening.

And as such, you know, where Algren could lose his life at the hands of the villains, Ganz and Billy Bear, they make Nolte, "Hey, give up your weapon, or there's gonna be bad." And the, the first thing that Nolte [laughs] is taught, and that every cop is taught, is that you do not give up your weapon, which No- Nolte, uh, ultimately does.

But just to see the, the trauma that Banks', his character, Algren, is going through, just to see him lose it and just to have this blank expression on his face really, really, really is captivating and just, just a marvelous performance.
