Bill Sage

i didn't mention the film was directed by john sheer and philippe denham and john sheer said related to the urban legend theme that he wanted viewers to experience how trauma had changed charlie's perception of strangers and of his own story

I agree with that because that comes across when he has the confrontation with the neighbors in the restaurant, which is a good scene because a character played by Bill Sage, who plays a terrible person in Gregor Ackie's Mysterious Skin, is like, these things would never happen to you, would they? Because you're lucky.

You're not the kind of person these things happen to.

And I think it says something about having an awareness that you might have to move about the world more carefully if you belong to some kind of... category that might be deemed disenfranchised.

It looks like a gym.

This gay couple walks out of the gym and holds hands and somebody drives by and throws a bottle.

But just catty-corner to that is Bill Sage and Dee Dee, played by Megan Dodds, just happily macking out and fully exposed, just free to be themselves, going about being heterosexual, holding hands, kissing, having loud, loud, loud sex, and just not having to think about that at all.

he chooses to follow them into a restaurant and then kind of ingratiates himself upon them and then that takes a darker turn and then i think that's the scene where we really realize what happened
