okay

right those are the two that i want to emulate in my fatherhood almost like more than anything else more more than love.
9:10
There's lots of them.
9:11
I mean, even gentleness is a great word.
9:13
These other people, they co-opt these words and then twist it up.
9:18
Gentle parenting is good when it's really, truly in gentleness, but mercy and consistency.

I think one of the most difficult things our children deal with is when we're inconsistent, when the rules change, when we do things because we're irritated rather because we're doing things in love.

I'm talking about, like, real Christian nationalism, self-identified people saying, "This is what I'm arguing for." What are those different models, and who are the players behind those models?
9:05
Exactly.
9:06
So let's, let's continue to look at it in this sense.
9:08
So the big models that some people will look at and they'll say things like this.
9:14
"Well, you're a Christian, right?" And people go, "Well, yeah." "And you like, you know, your nation more than some kind of global order, right? So in that, if you like a national order over a global order and you consider yourself a Christian, wouldn't that make you a Christian nationalist?" And we see the play that's going on there, is that one can affirm being a Christian, another person can affirm also being some form of a nationalist, but the hybrid of bringing them together makes a totally different understanding of it.
9:49
And here's what I mean by this.
9:50
I'm setting this up so you can see the major players and how they play it out.

Um, can you talk a little bit about that and how the f- you argue that the Founding reflects a move toward a free church in a free state, like that kind of vision?
