Bill Plunkett

On the right, on the left.

Yeah, Bill?

Yeah, Tarik, uh, how does the responsibility of starting a g- a game for this team feel different than starting a playoff game for the Tigers might have?

Um, I don't think it really feels much different.

Do you change a routine or change anything up for the heat?

[foreign language] Nothing for me personally, but I know the pitchers are gonna have a hard time, and I'm wishing all the best for, uh, Scooby.

Far right, Bill.

Uh, Shohei, I know you take pride in being out there every game.

Now, in case you don't know, he is with the Dodgers.

In fact, we had this from Bill Plunkett yesterday, saying that Dave Roberts said that Josue de Paula will join the Dodgers in L.A. this Tuesday, or rather tomorrow, on the bye week.

He will also be in the conversations about adding Hyesung Kim as a pinch runner.

off the bench for the NLDS so to me this is a clear and obvious point toward we believe heavily in Josue de Paula we think that he is a very good shot to be on this roster that's just my take on it but there's a lot of things that do kind of lead us into that now in case you kind of remember back to when he was optioned for Shohei Otani when that move was made when Shohei was fully healthy they did it on the perfect day you see 10 days is how long you have to be sent down for until you can be brought back up for a postseason opportunity.

What's wrong with that? Nothing.

But we hope in the morning you're going to be laughing with Brother Hal and Matt and I are going to be trying to revive Bill Plunkett.

That's not what we want.

I'll get you Katie Woo on.

Four for five, a home run, two doubles, three RBI.

He was a triple shy of the cycle, or as Bill Plunkett, friend of the show, likes to say, the tricycle.

Try Scheichel.

Try Scheichel.

mine is, as usual, simpler, and I actually didn't even have one ready to go.

So I'm going to riff from Bill Plunkett, who tweeted out all the dates that the Dodgers have clinched the division during this 14-year run.

Dylan, which year was their earliest clinch date?

Uh...

Uh, it is based on seniority.

Uh, Bill Plunkett of the Southern California News Group typically sits there, but on nights he's not there, I like to meander over and sit in the...

It's, like, a desk chair that's kind of off to the side.

Um, otherwise, just kinda figuring out where we sit.
