Bill Loewen

Thanks for having me.

Want to start talking about your time before Payworks, 'cause I know you spent about 15 years in the payroll industry, uh, at a company called Comchek, and, uh, founded by Bill Loewen and one of Canada's first independent payroll businesses.

Uh, can you talk a little bit about that time and maybe what it taught you personally and about leadership just before you came into founding Payworks, and, and what have you taken with you into running Payworks afterwards?

So I did join Comchek.

I was there for 15 years.

It was actually Bill Loewen who hired me, uh, into the company.

I think I was the 74th employee when I started.

When the company was sold to CIBC, we had probably 450 people, so there was tremendous growth in the business.
