I'm sure you all know the saying, "Misery loves company." I've recently been introduced to a quote from an American folklorist named Bill Ivey, who once said, "Misery may love company, but so does joy, and joy throws much better parties." [laughing] This weekend, we celebrate Pride here in Atlanta, and if there is one thing that the LGBTQ community knows how to do, it's throw a party.
