Bill Heck

With that being said, let's get into Prime Time.

[gentle music] Prime Time, directed by Lance Oppenheim, starring Robert Pattinson, Skylar Gazanzo, Merritt Weaver, Phoebe Bridgers, Matthew Maher, Bookem Woodbine, Alex Winter, Anna Faris, Eric Rahil, Bill Heck, among others.

In 2006, To Catch a Predator host Chris Hansen sets out to make television history, turning an undercover investigation into one of the most controversial cultural phenomena of the decade.

All right, so the first thing to, I feel, to address in this movie is, is this the Robert Pattinson show? And yes, it is i- in portions, but I, I think I was actually really surprised at how much this is also Skylar Gazanzo's movie and Merritt Weaver's movie.

Yeah.

I mean, like, and I, I, I love his, like, rivalry with Stone Phillips, who's played by Bill Heck, and, like, who is shown to be just a, in his own way, this kind of, like, bloviating empty suit.

Empty suit, yeah.

Yeah.

beyond that in terms of the world of this movie.

And then the second thing is, another thing that I like in the movie, and I wish that there had been more of, is that it reminds us that the show was on during the height of the Iraq War because Bill Heck plays Stone Phillips.

I really like how Bill Heck plays Stone Phillips as a guy who thinks he's doing much more important stuff than Chris Hansen is.

It's a nice little moment of...

Oh, Chris Hansen is going to show that guy because he doesn't think that what Chris Hansen does is worthwhile.

Like my favorite part, was not even them.

Like my favorite part was they casted Bill Heck.

I don't know if you know who Bill Heck is, but if you do, they casted Bill Heck as Stone Phillips and his entire, like the entirety of his performance, 95% of his performance is on a TV where he goes, I'm Stone Phillips.

I'm Stone Phillips.

It's so fucking Ron Burgundy.

It, like...

It fucks with you, but it fucks with you in the best way possible because it has, like...

Like I said, it has Bill Heck playing Stone Phillips.
