Protocol requires a 24-hour quarantine at the Midway Station, the halfway point between the void between galaxies.

Doctors Bill Lee and Peter Cavanaugh and technician Scott Dempster are already there.

Meanwhile, a Wraith commander has learned about the bridge from information stolen from Todd.

With Marines overrun, Shepard orders McKay to vent the station's atmosphere.

Shepard kills the commander in the last fight and barely survives by sealing himself in a space suit.

McKay repressurizes just long enough for the survivors, Shepard, McKay, Lee, Kavanaugh, and two Marines, to reach the escape puddle jumper and fly out as Midway explodes.
