Bill Bray

The bodyguard was more of a father figure.

The guy called Bill Bray.

And so people are Googling bodyguard and they're coming across me.

Bill Bray died in 2005.

I started working for Michael in 1995.

And so this whole new interest in me and demand for podcasts and yeah, books and everything is quite interesting.

But then I caught these pictures in the back parking lot.

So you could see Bill Bray, you could see Marvin with the top hat.

And then his other brothers were also there.

And just to give people context, those are security.

You might know Bill Bray.

If you've seen the biopic, you've heard about Bill Bray now, but with the top hat.

What was his name again? Marvin.

Okay.

Okay, so for me, one of the... 'Cause I'll be honest, I was not sure if I was gonna learn anything from the movie, but I was hoping that I would.

But one thing I did take away was the relationship between Michael Jackson and Bill Bray.

Mm-hmm.

Did you ever get to meet Bill Bray?

I did actually.

Um, it's kind of a long backstory, but I'll just say that I was working at the ranch, and then mysteriously they decided to eliminate my position.

It was, I was not even there a year.

And, um, so I went just ba- I went back to inspecting amusement rides, and it wasn't a month later I get a phone call and it's Bill Bray.
