Big Pharma conspiracy theory

Many companies have done the same thing.

But many of us have been programmed to be overweight by the food industries and then the advertising related to the industry and their product and services, because you're going to feel better.

You're going to get an emotional payoff with a lot of these companies.

You're going to feel better if you eat this junk food.

And what I found is that big pharma, meaning pharmaceutical companies, their profit margins were about 250% greater than other industries.

Think about that.

And that industry, Big Pharma, their profit margins a couple of years ago were 250% greater than other industries.

And this was back in 2015.

wrong about that.

That's why Big Pharma never actually finds the cure for stuff.

They just want you to

live with it.

I'm a conspiracy theory guy.

OK, another story is that colorectal cancer is on the rise in young people.

What do we think is driving this? What can we do about it and how can we prevent it?

OK, yeah, that's absolutely true.

There's no fibre in them.

Even meat fibre, people who have a carnivore diet have a pretty good microbiome containing bifidose because meat fibre can also be fermented by it.

And it's the old story.

We evolved over gazillions of years, 65 million years, you know, eating a carnivore diet and more recently bought in vegetable fibres into our diet.

And it was just brushed aside and nobody's really spoken about it, but people are still, statins are still the most prescribed drug in the world, aren't they?

Correct, but it makes big money for Big Pharma, and Big Pharma, with all that money, put out all this fake news and false propaganda, and the doctors have been completely brainwashed.

Because instead of having to have a long conversation with somebody about, and do a physical examination, heaven forbid, instead of having to have a long conversation with somebody about what they should eat and why they're eating the wrong foods and which supplements they should take, all they have to do is write a prescription.

And the NHS, the destruction of the NHS began in the 1980s when general practice became monetized.

And I have thoughts about supplements.

I did kind of want it because we are a conspiracy theory podcast.

So I did briefly before I go into a couple of the other things and then let Kate give us kind of her hippie perspective.

I did want to kind of talk briefly about why some people might have trust issues with like the FDA and which I think you touched on a little bit and big pharma.

yes but they're like yeah you're just getting them like from a random gas station dose it's crazy so wait what does your remote work look like though i'm curious

i mean there's uh i would have to sell my soul because as a like my philosophy in medicine is not to ever work for big pharma because I think they are scavengers on, on the healthcare system.

And they're like forcing people to be sick so they can make money off of them.

That's my philosophy.

But that is the way to work from home.

I have a, I have a question for actually for both of you, but especially for you on it after you made that comment.

So we were discussing in Portugal, whether we're, whether or not you think that there had like a cure for cancer has been discovered and has been silenced or, you know, like this is a conspiracy under wraps by big pharma.

Do you think a conspiracy?

Yeah, I think it's also the size of the conspiracy.

So even if you think that everyone who works in Big Pharma, everyone who works in medical research, everyone who works in hospitals, everyone who works for charity, even if 99% of them are evil, if you've got, you know, one researcher who leaks information or one group of nurses who refuse to give a treatment they know is harmful or, like, the number of people who would have to be involved in covering it up and...

Especially people like to say doing research for a degree or nurses, low-level researchers, they're not earning enough to have been paid off.

No, absolutely not.

Well, there is that, yeah.

I know a lot of people who work in medical research doing all sorts of things that honestly are massively beyond me.

But, yeah, one of them's like, I work for Big Pharma.

If we had a cure for cancer, we would be using the fuck out of that.

Are you kidding me? Controlled by the drug industrialists.

Big Pharma gets to poison everybody for profit.

We see it all the news.

Oh, we're going to normalize side effects of drugs.
