Big Modern!

I don't want to say it's, like, necessarily one of the great versions of the year by any means but every version of marupan is great so like this one's a really fun ride and a really interesting way to start the jam for sure

Yeah, I mean, it's certainly not having as good of a year as like Thatcher or Big Modern, in my opinion.

And this is probably like my third or fourth favorite Modavon of the year.

But I do like that it does something different.

They've played there quite a bit over the years.

Start off on August 24th, 2026 with the first Savager opener ever.

They get I'm Writing a Novel, Royal, Draconian Meter Maid, Dr. Darkness, Jed Stone, and Animal to Close Out Set 1. and then set to we get a big modern echo for rose into the mist then running up that hill 726 hunger site and then back into big modern to close out the mega sammy and then an encore of el meg the wise finally treating this venue to an el meg what a show yeah

This is another one of my favorites of the year, just in terms of set listing, just absolutely A-plus boys.

So the first set was played as they scripted it.

But they were planning on opening set two with So Ready, Amongster, Big Modern, then Post Place, Hunger Site, Arise, Factory, and then Doobie Song, Factory, Encore.

So I'm just going to say right now that the Rick during the show is a lot better at set listing yesterday than the Rick who wrote that set list.

But we've talked about this time and time again.

fringes tassels are different that's that's oh yeah i'm sure he's probably into but um

Third day of Red Rocks, just rush the stage and we'll see what happens.

Sadly, we did not get Big Modern last night, as I thought we were going to.

That's how I feel about them not playing Big Modern No, I'm just kidding.

I just feel, like, bummed that this was prime big modern territory here.
