Now that can mean the dad who sits at the head of the table in his little nuclear family of 2.5 kids and a submissive wife.

It can also mean the man that you elect to be president as the national big daddy of who will spank the children, yell at the women, get rid of the people who don't belong in the house and generally rule with an authoritarian iron fist because order is better than anything else.

That is, if you take that model and you expand it out to the public square, you no longer have a democratic sense of citizens and neighbors negotiating to come up with the best ways to feed society and everyone in the power-sharing agreement.

And so, in fact, instead of being philo-Semitic and slathering the state of Israel with as much praise as we can give it, we're going to be anti-Semitic because Jews just never got it.

And supposedly what happened was while he's filming Magnolia, He's with Tom Cruise.

Of all people, Tom Cruise has Adam Sandler's number because supposedly when Nicole Kidman, when they were married, hosted SNL, Tom Cruise and Adam Sandler meet and they exchange numbers or something like that.

but introduced to the last five years of Adam Sandler's cinema, you know, watching this movie as an Adam Sandler film, it does just sort of feel like while it is so different than everything else he does that it also, it seems like it's almost on that continuum, right? Because we've talked Ross in the last year or two of, of Adam Sandler, uh, trying to push out a little bit, right, of, like, movies like Mr.

Deeds and, you know, Eight Crazy Nights that are trying for some sort of heart here, right? And where you can see him trying to give...
