Any other topic? what the hell let's just round up oh yeah there's one more thing big brother so i don't i didn't really i don't okay so the last time i watched big brother was during lockdown season and i think the season after as well the one with angel and para and the rest so every other season after that i really haven't but this one apparently the person that won this one is a nepo baby who grew up in england and many people have mixed emotions because apparently in the past people who always win a size aside from mercy aka are people who went off pity votes maybe like they're very local maybe like you know they came from the grass and then they rose or whatever always like a story behind it but with her this was like this was like the first time that people people are like it wasn't pity votes so um I don't know, I don't really care too much for it, but it's the first time I'm actually seeing somebody, like, who is like who is from the diaspora when um big brother so oh you didn't hear about it

like honestly this big brother did not really intrigue me this season yeah um but i find it weird because it is my belief and i don't know if you agree of your own experience but don't you think that nigerian gendered nigerians have a certain privilege

I feel like Nigerians care so much.

This was the first year that I felt like Nigerians didn't really care about Big Brother.

I think we saw a version of that organically this season, with smaller fan bases rallying behind Iku late in the game.

That's worth BBNaija considering deliberately as a way to keep future finales unpredictable too.

The nomination pool was also genuinely strong.

Production deserves credit here.

Meanwhile, the quiet ones, the ones doing nothing for the storyline, flew under the radar and quietly made it to the finals.

Keeping everyone in the nomination pool early on helps weed out the boring housemates instead of punishing the entertaining ones.

So I like the direction of having larger nomination pools, but I think BBNaija can go even further.

One thing I noticed watching Grande Fratello is how they repeatedly use viewer voting and house nominations to narrow the field.
