Biffa plc

I'm ready.

On the 1st of July, 2025, which is exactly one month after the single-use ban began, there was a second fire at the Biffa Aldridge material recovery site.

One month later.

Yes.

of

Biffa.

Do you know Biffa? Not the sexiest company we've ever covered on the market.

Not

sexy,

essential.

Yeah.

So in January 2023, ECP completed the 2 billion take private Biffa, a leading UK-based integrated waste management.

I

agree with Biffa there.

Actually, that's another actor that could play a Doctor.

Yeah, I agree with you.

I've just seen Biffa's last comment.

I agree there.

No, I'd have him play the Master.

Is NF some kind of porn site?

So it was a really great time and a really great development pathway for me.

and then led really to moving to Biffa.

It was a bit of an accident, to be totally honest.

So I moved into an operations role, not an engineering role in Biffa.

And the job title was business manager.

So I'm thinking, well, I'm a business manager now, so let's go and look at a business manager role in Biffa.

And this was running a collections contract.

So in Lillehampton, the Arran District Council contract, So this is managing the team who collect the bins, trucks, the workshop, street cleansing.

Um, and then from there, I went to a number of different places.

So Yellow Pages, then on to Biffa, as in the waste company.

Yep.

I can bore you to death about the waste industry-
