Biên Hòa

So I flew from Dallas to San Francisco, and then from San Francisco I flew with several stops, uh, to Vietnam.

I landed in Tan Son Nhut Airport, which is near Saigon, and they bussed me to a, uh, an area called Bien Hoa.

And there, it, it...

When I was in Vietnam then, the fighting down south was essentially nonexistent.

We had four bases.

We had Phu Cat, Tuiwa, Ca- Phan Rang, and, uh, Bien Hoa.

And Tuiwa was an interesting, uh, place.

We had, when I got there, we had five squadrons in the wing.
